Dear Creon,
I know that you are in a difficult situation right now. I know you are probably all stressed out, but please try and not be. Oedipus is just overwhelmed with what Teiresias told him earlier about his "fate". I know that Oedipus wouldn't have killed Laius, I trust him enough to know that he wouldn't. Please don't be angry with him, he is just trying to get Thebes back to the way it use to be.
I know that you would never plot against the king and try to make yourself king, thats just not you. Your my brother and i know you wouldn't do that. I think that the best thing to do right now is for you and Oedipus to talk it out. This problem can be solved if you two talk things over. Once Oedipus has calmed down then talk to him, I don't want either one of you to hurt each other that would make matters worse. I would really like for things to be right again.
I don't believe that people have fate. You know that the fate of my first born was he was going to kill his father (Laius) and marry his mother (me). That couldn't be possible for Oedipus to be my son because Laius and I got rid of our baby along time ago. My Laius was killed by highwaymen, not by the one who saved the city from the Sphinx. I don't think that Teiresias is telling the truth. He's a blind old man, he has no clue what he's talking about. If Oedipus was really the killer why would he curse the murderer? That would mean that he's cursing himself and that doesn't make sense.
I know you will do the right thing and talk to Oedipus. Remember I love you and no matter what happens i will always be by your side. I know that things will work out and turn out marvelous. There is nothing that could make matters worse. I will speak with him soon though, I'm going to try and calm him down so that you can talk with him. Love you Creon!
Love,
Jocasta
